Lordan Laboratories, Inc. was established in 1997 to develop, manufacture, and market disposable, single-use flossing products that are effective and safe to use. We believe that the special abrasive fiber we use is the most effective fiber worldwide for removing disease-causing plaque. Our unique Xienon Cleaning System allows the floss to flex around the tooth cleaning more surface area and our Tensioning Release System makes them safe (see Dental Floss Innovations). You will find these special features in all of our Plakettes, Plakettes Whitening, and Dr. Mikey's products. We believe that those offerings with non-abrasive and non-breakable fibers are much too slippery to remove plaque and that non-releasing flossers are dangerous.
Lordans Plakette manufacturing equipment is brand new (built 2003/2004) and as state-of-the art as you could imagine enabling Lordan to manufacture (USA) its products cost effectively allowing Lordan to offer is products at the most competitive prices in the industry compared to similar offerings. Lordan was initially established in 1997 to manufacture and market the Plakettes Dental Flossers. During 2002 we introduced Dr. Mikey's Children's Dental Flossers and during 2003 we introduced the Plakettes Whitening Dental Flossers. In 2007 we introduced the Flosstix Dental Flossers. During the 2nd quarter of 2007 we will introduce Plakettes Evolution Dental Flossers. In 1997 Lordan's founder introduced Plakettes and entered into a licensing agreement with the inventor and patent holder for the exclusive rights for the patented Flosstix. In 2003 Lordan's founder entered into a licensing agreement with the inventor and patent holder for the exclusive rights to the Plakettes Evolution, which represents the 1st 2nd generation dental flosser in the industry featuring the "locking-live-hinge" technology. No organization in the world has more know-how and expertise in this field. Lordan's management and through prior associations was fully responsible for producing more than 10 dental flosser machine centers which produced Plakettes and similar dental flosser designs. Lordan's headquarters is located in Chestnut Hill, MA where its houses its financial, R&D, quality control, technical support, sales and marketing, purchasing, administration and customer service departments. Lordans Manufacturing is located in Rhode Island, USA. Lordan's design engineers, production personnel and quality assurance departments embody the most experienced team of experts in this field worldwide.
