Quality Control

All of our products are made to the highest standards in the industry. Our Plakettes Dental Flossers, Plakettes Whitening Dental Flossers, Plakettes Evolution, and Dr. Mikey's Children's Dental Flossers products are made in the USA and are subject to all good manufacturing guidelines (GMP’s). All of our products use only the highest grade of materials and are produced with brand new production equipment.Lordan’s quality assurance program has been designed to incorporate the principals of total quality assurance/service to customers (TQM\STC). The purpose is to "consistently provide products and devices that meet or exceed the expectations of our customers." This approach to quality encompasses "prevention" and "continuous process improvement." Utilizing techniques of TQM\STC, statistical process control and quality improvement teams, every effort is made to reduce the opportunity for error which can lead to down time and rejects.To every extent possible automation is employed in our manufacturing process to reduce human error to improve quality and efficiency. Lordan determines the level of quality through our quality assurance specifications. Our quality assurance program assures that our products meet or exceed our pre determined requirements.Our high quality is assured using the following tools: scope, responsibilities, quality control standards, visual criteria for production parts, purchase order control, drawing/specification revisions, engineering change and revision, first piece submission, product process qualification, sample shop qualification and retention, material control, material control procedures, receiving inspection, in process inspection procedures, in progress inspection/secondary operations, final inspection procedures, internal auditing, corrective action requests, stock control molding machine data sheets, tool and gauge control, approvals and Q.C.. Inspection data forms.Plakettes Dental Flossers, Plakettes Whitening Dental Flossers, Plakettes Evolution, and Dr. Mikey's Children's Dental Flossers represent the highest quality made oral care products in the industry. Our Flosstix Dental Flossers products will be made under the same quality control guidelines.

Automation

Lordan employs automation in its manufacturing process when possible to prevent human error and to provide consistent quality to meet or exceed our quality specifications.Lordan is currently in the process of building a fully automatic robotics production system to produce our newest convenience dental flosser product, designated "Flosstix." This new product will be produced without an on line labor component.Lordan is presently working with one automation specialist to secure alternative ideas for our existing products and new products which would optimize productivity and improve quality.
